Tom Hammerton OSF Retirement

(WAND) - OSF Healthcare Foundation President and Chief Development Officer for OSF Healthcare, Tom Hammerton, will retire in April, the hospital announced on Friday. 

OSF Healthcare said in a release that Hammerton spent 17 years with OSF, including serving as president of the Foundation for the last 12 years. 

During his time with the organization, OSF shared that Hammerton led several capital campaigns to support OSF Children's Hospital of Illinois, Almost Home Kids, the OSF Cancer Institute and more. 

Hammerton also played a significant role in the Cancer Institute's development. 

OSF said that Hammerton will remain in his role until a replacement is found.
