SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — Several lanes are closed after a crash on I-55 Thursday evening.
According to the Illinois State Police, troopers responded to a crash on I-55 southbound just before 5 p.m. at South Grand Avenue in Springfield.Â
ISP told WAND News that southbound lanes are expected to be closed for several hours, and northbound lanes are experiencing delays.Â
Drivers are asked to find an alternate route.
It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the crash, or if anyone was hurt.
