DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Decatur has wrapped up a major road project, as a long stretch of Route 48 is back open. 

Fairview Avenue/Route 48 had been closed between W King and W Eldorado Street since February. 

This is also the entrance to Fairview Park. 

City contractors had installed a new storm sewer underneath the roadway.
