DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Jasper Street Summer Fest returned Thursday for an evening full of family fun.

The city of Decatur provided free food, community art projects, a live DJ, and a bounce house at Johns Hill Park.

The festival is part of the Great Streets Great Neighborhoods project on Jasper Street. The project roadmap, adopted by city council last September, is a city-led initiative that is focused on revitalizing the area and providing a safe, vibrant atmosphere for residents.
