Kroger giving away 100,000 pints of ice cream

(WAND) - The Kroger Co. is giving away 1,000 pints of ice cream to celebrate the summer solstice.

The free summer solstice pint offer is for Friday, June 19.

Kroger is releasing new summer ice cream flavors including Seventh Inning Swirl, Sweet as Cherry Pie, and Banana Split Social as part of its All-American Ice Cream Collection.

Customers can get a free pint by visiting FreeKrogerIceCream.com to download their limited-time, single-use digital coupon, available exclusively on Friday, June 19 starting at 11 a.m. CST, while supplies last.

The coupon can be redeemed for one of the new All-American flavors or a classic Kroger Brand ice cream pint.

The coupon is redeemable from Friday, June 19 through Friday, July 3.

Customers who can't get the deal can still save $1 on any two pints of Kroger brand ice cream for redemption through Friday, July 3.
