SANGAMON COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - A multi-vehicle crash in northern Sangamon County has caused lane blockage. 

Illinois State Police said the crash happened on I-55 southbound at mile post 109. Troopers did not say which specific lanes are blocked. 

Drivers are asked to use caution in the area, slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.Â
