Long Creek Fire Department adds ambulance

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Long Creek Fire Department announced it has added an ambulance to provide ALS EMS and transport patients to local hospitals.

"This new service ensures seamless, high-quality emergency care for our residents," the fire department posted to Facebook. 

The department said, since launching the service, they have already run 45 calls from Jan. 1 to Jan. 13, with 26 patients transported to local hospitals for care.
