MIAMI (WAND) - A man used candy to try to kidnap a 7-year-old child.
The child was walking home alone from her summer camp Tuesday afternoon in Miami.
Police said a man wearing a ski mask and gloves tried to get her into the red sedan he was driving.
Thankfully, the little girl was not hurt.
"We don't want to create panic, but we just want to create conscious so that people know that there's a man out there trying to lure children who are walking home alone," Miami police said.
