While central Illinois is not out of the woods in the severe weather department, most of the additional clusters of storms that develop for the rest of the day into Tuesday night will feature small hail and wind gusts toward 50 mph. Â
The criterion for severe weather is 58+ mph and/or a minimum of quarter-size hail.  Â
A cold front arrives Wednesday with more storms followed by a bona fide dip in humidity Wednesday night.Â
