LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Two window washers were rescued Tuesday afternoon after the scaffolding gave way on the side of a downtown building, leaving them dangling between the seventh and eighth floor.

At around 3:11 p.m., MetroSafe said two window washers were working on the side of the L&N Building at Broadway and 9th Street downtown when the scaffolding gave way beneath them.

The Louisville Fire Department confirmed the workers were dangling about 80 to 90 feet off the ground.
