PANA - The Pana Fire Department is investigating a fire that took place on the city's northwest side on December 10.
According to the preliminary investigation into the fire, Pana firefighters were dispatched to the Fire Department's vacant "training house" in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street at about 10:36 p.m. Crews on scene reported seeing the structure fully engulfed in flames.
Pana Fire Department officials tell WAND News that electricity was not connected to the home at the time of the fire. Officials are investigating this incident as an arson at this time. If you have any information, you are urged to contact the Pana Police Department at (217) 562-2141.
