DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The Decatur Learn and Earn a Bike Program graduated 16 new cyclists on Wednesday.
For four weeks, students from the Boys and Girls Club of Decatur participated in the first Learn and Earn a Bike Program. Members of the Decatur Bicycle Club met with the students twice a week to teach them how to ride a bike safely and how to maintain the bike.

While this was the first year for the program, organizers said it was a success and they hope to have it return.
