There's an upcoming Route 51 Coalition meeting in Pana.
U.S. Representive Phil Hare will hold the town meeting and rally calling for funding of route 51 contraction. The plan is to expand route 51 to four lanes.
The concern is that if the project is not actively promoted, Washington won't fund it through stimulus money, and the development will lag farther behind. The Route 51 Coalition will meet at Pana City Hall next Tuesday at 3:30p.m.
