ST. LOUIS (WAND) — A runway was closed Wednesday morning after a plane slid into a section of grass when landing at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.

According to STL, a United Regional Jet operated by GoJet Airlines was carrying 27 people, including crew, when it hit the grass a little before 11 a.m. The flight had departed from Washington Dulles International Airport.

No injuries were reported, and passengers were loaded onto airport buses and transported to a concourse.

Liz Dray, Director of Talent Aquisition and Communications for GoJet, said there were no official reports at this time, but weather conditions, specifically icy taxiways, were the probable cause.

Flights scheduled for the plane that slid were reassigned to other aircraft.
