DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A Kenyan sand boa from the Scovill Zoo visited the WAND news studio on June 10. 

They are found mainly in desert conditions. They burrow under the sand where it is cooler. They hunt during the night time. 

The Scovill Zoo is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
