TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WAND) – Police arrested a teen in connection to a lockdown at a high school.
Police say the lockdown started just before 10 a.m. Wednesday at Taylorville High School, where they found a threatening handwritten note. Officers later arrested a female minor.
The school started a “CODE RED” lockdown procedure for a short time period.
Police say charges are pending after the arrest.
