CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) — United Way of Champaign County has been adding their Born to Learn Trails to Champaign parks since 2017.

Chief Development Officer Rebecca Guyette says it ties in with their core values of Early Grade Level Success.

"It aligns really well with one of United Way's primary priority which is our Early Grade Level Success. United Way of Champaign County has been focused on that for many years, and specifically, we have a read talk play everyday initiative," said Guyette.

This is the 10th park with the trail where kids can learn their letters, numbers, and other essential skills.

"The intent of the parks are to provide opportunities for children and their caregivers to interact and learn together," stated Guyette.
