DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - WAND News was honored Tuesday with a Regional Murrow Award for Best Writing.
WAND News Wake Up Anchor Deron Molen's entry for "Best Writing" was selected as the winner. The award is now under consideration for a National Murrow Award.

Molen and WAND were honored in 2024 with two regional awards and a National Edward R. Murrow Award.
The Murrow Awards have been administered by the Radio Television News Directors Association (RTDNA) since 1971. They honor the best in broadcast and digital journalism and are considered amongst the most prestigious in news.
