(WAND) - Winter returns to Central Illinois just in time for the weekend.
After topping out in the 50s Wednesday, we'll enjoy another mild day today with highs well into the 40s.
Â
Sunshine returns for much of the day after the showers this morning.
Â

A weather system will bring snow, wind, and colder temperatures Friday. A dusting to two inches of snow is expected with most of us seeing an inch or two. There could be some isolated higher totals, especially south.
Â
Highs Friday and Saturday will be cold – only in the low-30s. Overnight lows will be in the teens and 20s.
Â
Temperatures rebound to the 40s Sunday with sunshine.
Â
Even warmer weather is on tap next week with 60° possible by Wednesday.
