WHITEHALL, Oh. (WAND) - A sanitation worker in Ohio had a very close call this week when an oxygen tank exploded in a garbage can, and the whole thing was caught on camera. 

On Wednesday, Jan. 29, Local Waste employees in Whitehall, Ohio were loading garbage cans into a truck when an illegally placed oxygen tank exploded. 

The explosion sent trash and debris flying. 
 
The City of Whitehall shared video of the incident on its Facebook page and reminded people to check whether materials are considered hazardous and explosive at this link.
