Decatur, Ill. (WAND) -- The Decatur Baseball Club was started back in 2016 to give the option for adults to continue playing baseball as adults and they now have expanded to include the high school age.
To play in the league you have to be at least a Freshman in high school. Cripe said the oldest guy that plays is in his 60s, so they are always having fun on the diamond.
As for some of the high school kids like MacArthur's Logan Bradfield and Central A&M's Jamesly Jesse they say this gives them a chance to get more reps in in the off season plus have some mentorship from the older guys.
The Club plays every Sunday afternoon in Decatur.
