ROSEMONT, Ill. (WAND) - The Big Ten conference announced it will share a record $1.37 billion in revenue to the 18 schools a part of the conference.

The funds mark a $490 million increase from the end of the 2024 fiscal year, which will go on to benefit more than 14,000 student-athletes at various institutions.

The announcement comes as the NCAA athletic calendar nears its end. The record of revenue sharing comes on the heels of the first year with the conference additions of USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washington.

Big Ten success has been at the forefront of Division 1 sports and collegiate athletic revenue streams. The conference has claimed the last 3 national championships in college football, most recently with Indiana University winning the 2026 crown.

Earlier this month, the conference became the first to ever have three different universities claim the football, women’s basketball (UCLA) and men’s basketball (Michigan) championships in one academic year.

The Big Ten has also earned national championships in 6 other sports since November of 2025.
