CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois women's basketball coming off a domiante road win over the weekend agianst instate rival Northwestern, now they turn their attention to Iowa.
The Illini preparing for another ranked opponent as the Hawkeyes are sitting at #9 in the AP top 25.
Head Coach Shauna Green announced Wednesday that Gretchen Dolan will be out for the season after tearing her meniscus.
While this is new for fans the team has been with out Dolan for about a month which Green said has allowed the team has adjusted to not having her and players have stepped up to fill that role.
