CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois is preparing for their toughest game of the season so far as they hit the road for a top 20 matchup against Indiana.
In the last two games the Illini have gotten off to a slow start offensively.
The offensive line had all five starters returning this season and they are not happy with how they have performed so far this season.
Heading into Bloomington Illinois is hoping for a fast start offensively including getting the run game going and protecting Luke Altmyer.
Players said having the connection on the field allows them to be able to communicate better and hold each other accountable.
Illinois and Indiana kick off Saturday right here on WAND for the primetime game at 6:30 p.m.
