CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinos football is preparing for their sixth game of the season as they will hit the road to take Purdue.

In the first five games Luke Altmyer has thrown for 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions picking up right where he left off last season.

In his three seasons with the Illini Altmyer has thrown 46 total touchdowns and only 16 interceptions.

Offensive Coordinator Barry Lunney Jr. said he is impressed with how Luke has turned a page from his first year to now.
