CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Saturday will be one of the biggest days in Illini Football for more reasons than one.
No. 22 Illinois will host No. 24 Michigan in a ranked vs ranked matchup.
It will be the Rededication on the 100th anniversary of the Red Grange Game.
The Illini will don 1920's themed uniforms to pay tribute. And the honorary captain will be Josh Whitman, who wore the orange and blue the last time there was a ranked matchup in Champaign.
Head coach Bret Bielema said that him and Whitman had been talking about this game before he even took the job.
It will become a reality on Saturday when this game kicks off at 2:30 p.m.
