CHARLESTON, Ill. (WAND) - After clinching the Ohio Valley Conference tournament championship for the second-straight season, the Eastern Illinois University softball team qualified for the NCAA tournament. Their journey will begin in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where they will compete against the hosts, #15 Oklahoma State.
EIU and OSU will take the field at Cowgirl Stadium at 3:30pm, Friday, May 15. The other side of the bracket features 17th ranked Stanford and Princeton.
The Panthers' will return to the NCAA tournament for the 3rd time in four seasons. In 2025, EIU was assigned to Austin, Texas, to play the hosting Longhorns and the University of Central Florida.
