Springfield Horseshoes celebrating 100 years of baseball

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) -- The Springfield Horseshoes have been playing baseball in the city for 100 years.

The Shoes are the home to a college summer league for the prospect league giving college kids the chance to play ball during the summer.

Chief Storyteller Jamie Toole who has been with the organization for over 20 years said it's cool to have such a long history in the city and continue to bring new stuff every year.
