DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Drought conditions persist across Central Illinois, but we're finally seeing decent rain chances in the forecast.

Several showers and storms dotted the area Friday and the same will occur today and tonight.  Highs today will still be summer-like in the mid-80s, which is almost ten degrees above average.

Shower and storm chances increase Sunday night into next week as temperatures trend down.

Some models are showing a few inches of rain falling.  We could definitely use it.
