DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Artists from across the Midwest will get the opportunity to showcase their artwork in Downtown Decatur this weekend. 

The Decatur Area Arts Council will host Arts in Central Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21. 

Fifty booths featuring artists from across the Midwest will be open to attendees, selling jewelry, pottery and metal sculpture, among others. 

Featured local artists will include Jill Bush (Champaign), Camera Club (Decatur), Regina Santarelli (Springfield), George Strohl (Mt. Zion) and more. 

Decatur Area Arts Council Programs Coordinator Katie Dunscomb shared that the festival will feature a variety of unique artworks. 

"You're going to see stuff you've probably never been able to see in person before, and get to experience things that aren't typically in Decatur, which is so exciting," Dunscomb said.
