DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- Millikin baseball is sitting at #25 in the ABCA coaches poll afer a strong finish in conference play over the weekend.
The Big Blue secured the 2026 CCIW regular season championship and will now host the conference tournament next week.
Head coach Brandon Townsend said preparing for the post season they are taking it one game at a time and focusing on the basics and how Millikin baseball should play.
The Big Blue would improve to 30-8 overall with a 1-0 win over Rose Hulman Wednesday night. They close out the regular season this weekend out in Iowa with a double header against Crown College on Saturday.
