DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America with 36.5 million current players according to the Association of Pickleball Professionals.
The sport is a combination of ping pong and tennis played on a smaller version of a tennis court and played with a hard whiffle ball.
The regional event starts Saturday June 17 at 9 a.m. at Cresthaven Park.
