SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield suffered flooding over the weekend due to the extreme cold temperatures.Â
The hospital reported "minor flooding due to a frozen sprinkler head on a water pipe" in the main lobby.Â
The hospital posted to Facebook on Sunday that the flooding was under control and not affecting patient care.Â
Visitors had to use the Children's Hospital entrance Sunday through 6 p.m.Â
Outpatient Lab registration will resume at 7 a.m. Monday.Â
