(WAND) - A nearly 20 degree drop in temperature from Tuesday morning to Wednesday morning. That's enough to remind us that April is a fickle month, and the average last frost doesn't occur until early May!

That said, it's time to plant...this weekend.

Stormy weather still has to run its course for the rest of this week with no less than three different features headed our way.

Showers and thunderstorms will be on and off with an isolated risk of severe weather. However, the amount of chilly air being tapped in the wake of these storms shouldn't be enough to trigger a frost.

So, take your green thumb outdoors this weekend despite the soggy ground and get a start on those plants. That is, of course if you haven't already.
