DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Thursday! Chilly conditions moved in overnight, and we are waking up in the upper 30s across much of Central Illinois. Clear skies will hang around through the morning, and this will allow temperatures to warm up into the 50s and low 60s for the afternoon. Clouds will move in through the afternoon. Rain chances will increase this evening. Expect scattered to steady rain through the evening hours.

Showers will exit overnight with skies clearing for early Friday morning. Friday looks very similar to Thursday with sunny skies in the morning and cloudy skies for the afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly cooler, with high temperatures only hitting the upper 50s. Scattered light rain is possible on Friday evening, but it will be very light.

Frost chances are possible on Saturday morning. Make sure sensitive plants are protected overnight. Temperatures will again be below average Saturday afternoon with highs right around 60 degrees. Warmer temperatures will return on Sunday afternoon with high temperatures hitting the upper 60s.
