DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Wednesday! It will be a chilly Wednesday overall. Cloudy skies will hang around most of the day, and temperatures will be slow to warm up. Expect a gradual warm-up into the upper 50s by the afternoon. Clouds will clear slightly this afternoon and evening. Clouds will continue to move out overnight. This will allow temperatures to drop into the 30s. Some frost is possible for areas north of I-74.

We will have sunny skies to start the day on Thursday. Clouds will gradually increase throughout the day. Temperatures will be warmer in the mid-60s. The warming trend will continue into Friday. Mostly cloudy skies with a few scattered showers are possible through the afternoon.

Temperatures will start chilly on Saturday morning in the upper 40s, but much warmer temperatures will take over by the afternoon. Highs will warm into the upper 70s with mostly sunny skies for the afternoon. Rain chances return Saturday night into Sunday. A few storms are possible, but nothing severe is expected. Temperatures will be closer to average in the upper 60s and low 70s for next week.
