A foggy start to a cloudy day

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Wednesday! We’ve hit the weather bingo for the week after having sunshine, showers, thunderstorms, and hail all in the last few days, and this morning we can mark off fog.

Areas of fog have lowered visibility across the region down to a half a mile for some areas. Fog is expected to persist until the mid morning, and then we’ll be mainly cloudy throughout the rest of the day. Temperatures will top off in the low 50s.

Tonight, we’ll hang onto clouds with lows in the low 40s. Our next weather maker moves into the region tomorrow, but rain chances will be slim for areas north of I-70. More rainfall arrives heading into our Friday.
