DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Thursday! Temperatures have been warming up over the past few days, and that pattern will continue for Thursday. Temperatures are starting in the low 60s across much of Central Illinois this morning, which is very close to where we were yesterday morning. Fog will be the biggest issue this morning. A dense fog advisory will be in place for the early morning.

Temperatures will be warming up very quickly this afternoon. High temperatures will top off in the mid-80s with a mix of sun and clouds. This will be the hottest day of the week. Winds will continue out of the north east, and bring in dry and cooler air for the weekend.

Temperatures will drop into the 50s overnight. Temperatures will be very close to average in the upper 70s for Friday afternoon. Breezy conditions will return for the weekend. More clouds will build into the region through Saturday and Sunday. A few spotty showers are possible on Sunday, but most of the area will stay dry.

Temperatures will be extremely consistent over the course of next week. Afternoon highs will be right around 80 degrees. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s. Rain chances will hold off through the middle of next week.
