DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Mother’s Day! We are setting up for a great day to celebrate all the moms out there.Â
High pressure returns for the start of the week behind last night’s cold front. That front brought a few showers late last night, but the more lasting impact is the cooldown to the mid 60s this afternoon. However, aside from a few midday clouds, today will be mainly dry and mostly sunny by the late afternoon.Â
The clear skies this evening will allow us to cool down to the mid 40s overnight.Â
Tomorrow, sunshine returns and temperatures warm the upper 60s again, but a few hometowns may reach the 70-degree mark. Rain will likely hold off until Tuesday afternoon.
