(WAND) - Easter weekend is upon us, and it is going to be a stormy and soggy one.

Ahead of a cold front, it will be very breezy and warm today with highs in the low-to-mid-80s.

Strong to severe storms are possible this evening and tonight.  Damaging winds and large hail would be the biggest threats, but isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.

The bigger story will be heavy rain tonight through Monday morning. Several inches are possible.

While the severe weather threat shifts southward Saturday, another round of severe storms is possible Sunday afternoon.

Easter weekend highs will be around 60° Saturday and close to 70° Sunday.
