DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -Â A burn ban is in place for several counties across central Illinois. Factors such as low relative humidity, low soil moisture from the drought, and windy conditions all contribute to the risk of wildfire spread. Thanks to continued influence under high pressure, each of these conditions remain in our forecast.Â
Today will be warm again in the low 90s. We might enjoy a light breeze at times, otherwise, we'll be mostly sunny and comfortable with dewpoints staying below 60 degrees for most.Â
Overnight will be cool again in the low 60s under clear skies. 90s will continue for the midweek, but cooler air returns this weekend with the arrival of rain.
