Foggy start to the week

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! Another cool, clear night with light winds last night means we are waking up to fog once again this morning.

7:30 EDIT: A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for a large portion of Central Illinois until 10am regarding patchy dense fog bringing visibility down to a quarter of a mile or less. Use caution on the roads as conditions may rapidly change across the area. Add space between you and other cars, and take your time.

By mid-morning, we’ll be back to mostly clear conditions with plenty of sunshine by the afternoon under high pressure. Temperatures warm up to the mid to upper 50s. Skies remain clear this evening with lows in the mid 30s, then clouds will build back in overnight into tomorrow morning.

Rain returns tomorrow night and tapers off early Tuesday. A colder and drier pattern will return behind it as we head into the second half of the week. Get ready for a very chilly Thanksgiving.
