DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! It’s getting even colder today and tomorrow, and now we are preparing for a Cold Weather Advisory that will highlight the temperatures.
We head into our Sunday with a quiet start, but there are chances for a few snowflakes throughout the evening. Isolated snow showers may clip through the northeast portion of the region tonight. Behind this, skies will clear, winds pick up, and temperatures will drop as high pressure quickly moves in.
The dropping temperatures and winds will leave us feeling like 10 to 20 degrees below zero by tomorrow morning. Because of this, a Cold Weather Advisory has been issued for nearly all of Central Illinois. It goes into effect overnight and continues through noon Monday.Â
Stay warm and have a great weekend!
