DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Monday! A shortwave nearby allows for a few passing clouds, but overall, we’ll be mostly sunny and quiet today as a ridge moves into the region.
This ridge keeps us dry even as an area of low pressure rolls through southern Canada, flattening it and bringing a few clouds and gusty winds tomorrow. The main story will be the warming temperatures ahead of this low. Today, southerly flow and sunshine will bring temperatures into the mid to low 40s. Tonight, partly cloudy skies will keep us in the low 30s. Tomorrow, we continue with mostly sunny skies and temperatures warming into the upper 40s and low 50s.
Cooler air moves in by the second half of the week, but we’re still above average for this time of the year through the start of next week.
