DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Decatur police are investigating after a shooting Sunday afternoon.
It happened near the intersection of East Lawrence Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive around 2:30 p.m.
Photos taken by WAND photojournalists show several Decatur Police Department police cars and officers on scene. There is crime scene tape up in the area.
DPD did confirm with WAND News that there was a shooting, but they had no more details at this time.
It is unclear how many people were hurt or if anyone was killed.
