DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — Over 200 cars participated in a drive-by parade that passed the home of Kaitlynn Eller's family, with riders hoping to show support for the family amidst loss.

Organizers Tim Reimer and Tim Clark said they felt compelled to do something to show support for the family of 12-year old Kaitlynn, who took her own life ON January 28.

"We wanted to do something for the family, show support, and let them know people are hearing them and supporting them," Clark said.

It started as a call out on Facebook, but turned into hundreds of cars and trucks and over a dozen horses and their riders taking to the street.

"It just shows you that people do care about what's going on with the bullying. We need to stop it for little girls like Kaitlynn so it doesn't happen again," Reimer said.
