More sunshine this afternoon

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Another quiet day is in the forecast for today, but rain is on the way.

Partly cloudy skies will allow temperatures to warm into the mid 60s for the region. Tonight, we are dipping back into the mid to upper 40s. Areas that hang onto clouds will stay near the upper 40s and low 50s.

These clouds are ahead of our next weathermaker. It plans to bring scattered showers by tomorrow evening that will continue through Wednesday afternoon. However, rain totals may likely stay under a half inch area wide as the center of the low takes on a more southerly track.
