DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Saturday! After a cold end to the week, we’ll be closer to seasonable conditions this afternoon under high pressure. This will also bring clear skies and sunshine and a return to southerly flow by the afternoon.
Temperatures top off in the low 50s today. Clouds gradually build back in late tonight, limiting temperatures to the upper 30s. Although we are cooler, these temperatures are right on average for this time of year.
The transition to southerly flow for the start of the week will bring a warm-up to the 60s tomorrow, the 70s on Monday, and potentially the low 80s by Tuesday. However, these unseasonably warm highs last until the cold front passes on Tuesday with rain and thunderstorms during the evening and colder air behind it.
Have a fantastic weekend!
