DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! We started the day with sunshine, but cloudy skies will be the story.Â
A transition from high to low pressure today will bring a windy forecast. The dry air from departing low pressure leaves rain chances low this morning. We’ll be talking more about sprinkles and light rain early in the day rather than heavy rain. Highs today top off in the upper 60s.
Tonight, a few isolated showers and storms may roll through, but mainly for those south of I-72. Temperatures will dip into the low 50s.Â
Tomorrow, we wake up to sunshine, and we’ll warm to the mid-70s. Clouds will build in throughout the day ahead of a chance for widespread storms late Monday night. This is part of a cold front that will be arriving with strong gusty winds and potentially hail. As the front slowly rolls through, our Cinco de Mayo will be a rainy one.Â
Have a great day!
