Returning to sunshine to start the week

DECATUR, IL. (WAND) - Happy Sunday! We are tracking a return to quiet conditions today.

Yesterday’s rainfall will exit the region early this morning, but overcast skies will linger in its wake through mid-morning. Some of these clouds may sit low, limiting visibility early. However, we should be able to get back to mostly clear and sunny skies by midday, and this sun, paired with continued southerly flow later this afternoon, will bring temperatures into the mid to upper 50s.

Tonight, clear skies prevail in the evening, but cloudy skies will gradually return overnight. Temperatures will dip into the upper 30s.

Aside from mostly cloudy skies tomorrow, Washington’s birthday will be quiet and mild. Temperatures will be back in the upper 50s, and breezy conditions will make it nice to head outside to enjoy the day.
